Speaking of family— when you’re responsible for the hairstyles of your 7 siblings, you’ve seen it all. Every other Monday, it’s hair day for Yuli’s brothers and sisters. They always want to change it up — but she never lets them do anything that wouldn’t look good.
Yuli’s philosophy has always been to add to the beauty that she sees in you, and bring out all of the beauty that’s there, rather than changing anything. Yuli describes herself as “super basic and natural.” She enjoys creating looks that will grow out great, so clients’ styles look amazing when they come back to her, too, not just the day of their appointment! Yuli prides herself on her love of listening to what clients want, and her unflinching honesty when she is asked her opinion. She believes in being just as honest with clients as she’d be with her own brothers and sisters, and she brings the same dedication and family-oriented approach to every client.
Because Yuli deeply loves what she does, being a stylist has never felt like work to her. For her, the combination of being creative and making clients feel good is the best part of her day — seeing clients smile in her chair, and channeling her creativity into making clients feel great.
